My first tool of the trade is obviously my Mac with all its programs. But I want to give props to my Dahle paper cutter.

It cuts accurate straight lines and has a self-sharpening blade. Because of it, I don’t have to use my X-acto knife anymore! What a life-saver because I cut a lot of paper!
I’m interested to see some clever tools that others use on this week’s Studio Friday!

ETA: haha I used “interested” and “interesting” in the same sentence so I had to go back and revise my adjective.

The sticky note cracks me up. I like the slider paper cutters much better than those old ones where you were afraid you might hack off your finger…or was that just me?

That is a very impressive tool and I just checked the price WHOAH! How thick can it cut? How about 300lb watercolor paper?

I have a totally old school paper cutter – it weighs about 100lb but it works like a charm!! I’d love to get an “updated” one with a rotary cutter though, it just seems like so many out there are too lacking in quality.
This is a good one though? How much $$, if you don’t mind my asking? And where is it from?
Thanks for sharing!!

macs rule; so right! that looks like a great paper trimmer; mine pulls in the edge of the paper and cuts on a slant. (argh)
